About the Owner
How time flies! We have been coming to Hilton Head and especially Sea Pines since our children were very small. We all fell in love with Sea Pines and our happiest memories are here. One of those memories includes our daughter’s wedding on the beach. Our children are adults now with children of their own. However when they were in college they always found time to come along any time we were here. This is one of the most wonderful places in the world to have quality family time. It is possible to shut out all the distractions of busy lives at home and focus on enjoying each other. We live and work in the Atlanta area and have 3 adult children and four grandchildren. Eventually when retirement comes, we plan to move permanently to Sea Pines.

Why The Owner chose Sea Pines
We are veteran renters with specific tastes in rental property. Being from Atlanta we wanted properties without the sight and sound of traffic. We wanted places that were light and bright that did not look dated. We prefer beach decor and water views. Pleasing outdoor areas with seating are a must. On site pool and tennis are important. We have stayed in so many different properties in Sea Pines that we know the unique features and advantages of each. We always loved Inland Harbour and found it very convenient to everything in Sea Pines. It is easy to get out the gate to make a quick trip to the grocery stores or restaurants. Also so many amenities are within a short walk or bike ride. We never tire of our view or the sound of the fountain. Also the golfers are very entertaining.
What makes this condo unique
We enjoy breakfast by the water. The views are incredible. Riding bikes is a favorite pass time. The bike paths are all paved, mostly shaded and flat. This is easy riding for anyone. We enjoy sitting and watching the waves and sunset over the ocean in the evenings. We love the live oaks and the incredible landscaping in our area. Everything in Sea Pines is so clean and well maintained. Our area is especially nice. Most of all we enjoy the escape from our busy lives with an ability to live in the moment without planning anything beyond the next meal or activity.
This is a very peaceful place.

This makes our 5th time visiting Hilton Head and our 3rd stay at Waters Edge. I really enjoy going to Waters Edge because it feels like home! I know where things are and it is just comfy and cozy. The owners of Waters Edge are also really great to work with. They treat you with respect and they make you feel like you are apart of their family. I would recommend if you are visiting Hilton Head you give this place a shot!

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay in this Water’s Edge home. The condo was clean, comfortable and convenient for all that we love to do in Sea Pines. We appreciated the owner’s attentiveness and attention to details. They even had turtle shaped soap for the kids! We look forward to staying here again on our next vacation!

Our family had a wonderful week at Water’s Edge! The owner was very easy to work with — the emails she sent before our trip had all the information we needed about the property as well as a detailed list of favorite restaurants. She also responded immediately to the (very minor) issues we had upon arrival and resolved things quickly. Having two adult bikes to use made the trip much easier, as we only had to transport our kids’ bikes. Just about everything we could possibly need was within biking distance in Sea Pines. We rode to the beach, visited Lawton Stables, and went to breakfast at the cafe in Harbor Town, all without getting in the car, and the distances were easily managed by our 7- and 10-year-old. We also enjoyed amazing weather and got a lot of use out of the sand toys and boogie boards provided by the owners. The kitchen was a pleasure to work in (and provided us with some ideas for new appliances) and we appreciated having a washer and dryer available to get the sand out of everything! This is a beautiful, well-maintained condo in a lovely setting. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Sea Pines.

Hilton Head is a very special place for me and my family. My family lives on the island year round. As I child, I would spend a month on the island with my grandparents, so it was important for me to have my children experience what I experienced as a child. My kids had a wonderful time. They woke up every morning to check the animals in lagoon. We absolutely love the accommodations. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully appointed with whatever a cook could need. If you are, or not, familiar with Sea Pines, this is the place where you want to stay. You do not need a car to go anywhere, use the bikes, which are provided. The bikes are very nice too. Harbortown is a 5 minute bike ride. The stables (another favorite trip for our family) were a 10 minute bike ride, in the shade. Ice cream, food, a farmers market and a bar were all within walking distance. There are absolutely no negatives to this place. The Wifi and DVD players in all of the rooms were also a bonus. We loved our stay and plan to return next summer.

This rental exceeded all of our expectations and we will return!!! This rental is highly recommended. The owner takes great care in making sure all of your needs are met. There was great communication and the whole process was flawless.
Located in the Inland Harbor section of Sea Pines, the rental was within walking distance to a trolley stop, a bike rental, Lawton Stables, and Harbor Town. The deck view was amazing (and private) with unbelievable views of local wildlife. One could sit in the living room and see gators swimming by – it is very safe too. We enjoyed the use of their clean gas grill and ate many meals on the deck.
The place was (and I mean this) spotless!! The kitchen, bathrooms, furniture, bedding were clean and fresh. There were plenty of essentials available for use (dish washing detergent, laundry detergent, dish soap, hand soap, trash bags, etc.)
The exterior was clean and well maintained with regular recycling and trash pickup. It never seemed crowded in the parking lot and it was very quiet in the day and night. The grounds were beautiful with large Crepe Mertles and Live Oaks with Spanish Moss.
Bikes were provided – one gets around all of Sea Pines easily riding on the ample paved bike trails.
There is nothing negative to say except that we aren’t there now….
